Manolo entered the South Florida construction industry 15+ years ago and after a successful run in some of the highest regarded general contracting companies in Florida he founded Escamon Construction.
Manolo’s experience - primarily concentrated on large, high-profile projects - has focused on overseeing the construction of projects in healthcare, higher education, retail, mixed-use facilities, high-rise condominiums and in-use office buildings. Some of his work includes a renovation of the University of Miami Hospital and the construction of the Embassy Suites By Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront expansion, The Harbour, East Coast Building and the Gables One Tower. Manolo has established a track record for delivering complex and logistically challenging projects on time and on budget, a strong record of leadership and a reputation for developing solid working relationships with owners and subcontractors resulting in successful experiences and repeat clients.
Manolo earned a Master of Science in Construction Management from the School of Engineering at Florida International University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans - he is a LEED accredited professional and a Florida licensed general contractor. Manolo resides in Miami with his wife and their two children who fully supported him in starting his own business and together share a love and passion for building.
